Champion Power Equipment is North America's largest generator manufacturer with about 50% of the generator market in the US and Canada. We are one of very few manufacturers that designs, develops and produces all generators in-house, which gives us deep expertise, a broad range and quality. Generators are simply what we do. For work, vacation or home, we set the standard for quality and performance.
The power of Champion
Since 2003, Champion and Warrior Diesel have built a reputation for developing, designing and manufacturing the world's most complete generators. From our global headquarters in Santa Fe Springs, California, we have expanded our North American operations to facilities in Jackson, Milwaukee and Toronto. Since 2014 we are also present in Europe. With over three million generators sold in North America, Champion is the largest brand in generators.
Champion in Europe
In Europe, Champion Power Equipment operations are run by Champion Europe AB, with a warehouse in Gothenburg, Sweden where we stock products, spare parts and accessories for customers across the continent.
Our goal is to be the knowledge hub in Europe when it comes to generators and to offer products at the forefront of technology, environment and design.
Champion products for Europe are adapted for the EU market. Regulatory requirements differ from North America, and European customers have their own expectations of specification, fuel and equipment — our range reflects that.
Champion Europe works with one exclusive distributor per country or area within the EU. Each distributor adapts model programme, accessories and range to its local market, which means the assortment can differ between European countries. In Scandinavia, Kanelverk Skandinavien AB is the exclusive distributor; in Finland and the Baltics the brand is represented by BPE Finland OY.
Innovative solutions
Champion has always been at the forefront of innovation and product development. We are one of the few manufacturers to offer generators with both Dual Fuel and Tri Fuel. We also have technology that allows our products to start via relay and ATS. We have wireless remotes, Cold Start functions and the ability to parallel-link generators. Internally we call it "seeing around the corner".
Champion's engine technology
Our development center "Champion Engine Technology" (CET) is located in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA. Here research and development of our engines, the heart of most of our products, takes place.
